I started writing this post by trying to summarize what I read here. I can't do it justice, so I will say just click on the link to read a beautiful story of faith and love.
I found your blog via Molly Piper's blog, where your mention of having lost a baby moved my heart. My husband and I lost our 2nd child three years ago this month. God has since blessed us with 2 more little boys. I certainly remember being where you are - both grieving and looking forward to a new baby at the same time, such a paradox.
Thank you for sharing on this blog so much of your heart, so poignantly about faith, trust, loss and healing. I was very moved reading about your sweet baby boy and your path of grief and healing.
John Piper says in one of his poems a line I have thought of many times since losing our son: "God is kind in ways that will not fit your mind."
I found out I was pregnant in August of 2007 with our second child and everything was "normal" as far as we knew, until December 3, 2007 when I went in for a routine ultra-sound and they couldn't find his heartbeat. He was still born on December 6th. We found out later that I had contracted Fifth Disease and passed it to the baby and he was not able to fight it off. This blog will be my story of that loss and my life since, and because I have faith, I know it will be a story of redemption.

Blessings to you and your family!
